Kyle A. Ference graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In 2014 he graduated, with honors, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he also served as an Articles Editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. While attending UGA Law, Mr. Ference worked as a law clerk at a prominent general practice law firm in Athens, and he participated in an alternative spring break project where he volunteered his time working with the New Orleans Public Defenders Office.
Upon graduating law school, Mr. Ference served as a staff attorney for the four Superior Court judges of the Piedmont Judicial Circuit in northeast Georgia. His primary responsibilities in that capacity included advising the judges in a variety of areas of the law, with a primary focus on cases involving divorce and custody. That role afforded Mr. Ference the invaluable experience of evaluating family law cases from the court’s perspective, and he has incorporated that experience into his current practice.
Prior to joining Stern & Edlin, Mr. Ference spent two years practicing family law at a general practice firm in northeast Georgia. He currently lives in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood and spends his free time exploring the BeltLine and Piedmont Park.
