Erik joined Stern Edlin Graham Family Law, P.C. in 2017. Prior to joining the firm, Erik practiced for five and a half years at another family law firm in Atlanta where he gained extensive experience in high asset divorce and complex child custody cases. His goal is to combine that experience with compassionate advocacy to successfully guide his clients through all aspects of their family law matters.
Erik is a member of the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law American Inn of Court and the Family Law Sections of both the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association. In 2016, he participated in the Atlanta Bar Association’s production of “A Courthouse Line XII.”
Erik earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2004 from Georgia College & State University where he graduated summa cum laude and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2011. While in law school, Erik was a member of the National Order of the Barristers and the Moot Court Board. Erik was a semifinalist in the 2009 Russell Oral Argument Competition and competed in the 2010 Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition where his team was the Southeast Super Regional Champions and in the 2010 Civil Rights and Liberties Moot Court Competition where his team advanced to the semifinals and Erik was named the third best Oralist.
While in law school, Erik was a pupil of the Chattahoochee Inn of Court, served as a Notes Editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law, and was a member of the championship team of the 2010 Hulsey-Kimbrell Moot Court Competition. Erik lives in Marietta with his two sons.
