Lauren joined Stern Edlin Graham Family Law, P.C. in March 2020. She started her legal career as a Staff Attorney for the Conasauga Circuit in Dalton, Georgia. She then worked with a legal services organization for four and a half years, based first in Gainesville and then in Atlanta. That work gave her broad experience in many legal areas with particular emphasis on family law matters, as well as frequent courtroom experience. Lauren is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar.
Lauren is originally from the metro Atlanta area and grew up in Dunwoody. She earned her B.A. in History and Communication Studies from Furman University and worked in marketing before returning to Georgia to attend the University of Georgia School of Law. In law school, Lauren served as the Executive Articles Editor for the Georgia Journal of International & Comparative Law, and her writing was published in that Journal. She gained on-the-ground advocacy experience through her participation in the Public Interest Practicum and the Criminal Defense Clinic, and she was involved in leadership of the Georgia Association of Law and Politics, twice helping organize their annual conference on developments in Georgia law and policy. Lauren draws on all of her experience, and particularly her work with legal services, to approach her clients' cases with compassion, dedication, and energetic advocacy.
Lauren lives in Chamblee with her husband, son, and cat. She enjoys spending time with her family, following baseball, practicing yoga, and trying to keep her houseplants alive.
